Job Overview

We are seeking to appoint a motivated individual to join our Mental Health Liaison Team (MHLT) based at Royal Blackburn Hospital. The role involves providing administrative support to clinicians, managing medical records, processing referrals, and maintaining communication within the team.

Working Pattern

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours) with a shift pattern that covers 24/7 operations, including day and night shifts across a 8-week cycle. The schedule supports a balanced work/home life.

Main Duties

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and information services.
  • Coordinate activities with other administration team members.
  • Work flexibly across different sites as directed.

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 in Customer Care or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

Knowledge

  • Willingness to learn about Mental Health pathways, specifically the Urgent Care pathway.

Experience

  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Experience working in a confidential, sensitive clinical environment.
