An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Admin Officer to join the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Clinical Admin team at Frimley Park Hospital. Accuracy and attention to detail are a must. Applicants should enjoy working in a busy environment and you will need to be organised, enthusiastic and dedicated with excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support to the department, ensuring tasks are prioritised and completed efficiently. They will plan and manage their own workload using appropriate tools and escalate any issues that may affect deadlines. The role includes handling urgent requests from consultants, including medical correspondence, medico-legal reports, and ad hoc letters, in line with Trust policies. The post holder will gather and organise information relevant to their duties while maintaining strict confidentiality. They will respond to queries from colleagues, GPs, and patients in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. Secure storage of all resources, including electronic records, is essential. The role also involves scanning and uploading clinical documents into the Trust’s Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system and supporting clinicians in sending patient letters via Epic, especially where patient information is incomplete or attachments are required. The post holder must ensure all telephone communications are handled promptly and professionally. Competent use of EPIC and other relevant IT systems is essential to support departmental operations.
