Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust in Southend is seeking a Service Administrator for the Diabetes, Endocrine, Neurophysiology and Neurology teams. You will provide comprehensive administrative support to clinical and nursing staff and help manage workload in a busy hospital environment.

The role requires excellent communication, organisational skills, and a proactive approach to patient care. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth service delivery.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
• Competent in Microsoft packages (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Proven experience of working as secretary/administrator in a busy environment.
• Understanding medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Consultants within Diabetes and Endocrine and their team.
• Support the demand of the service as required.
• Assist Consultants and team to run a smooth service.
