A leading healthcare provider in England is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver clinical services in oncology. Responsibilities include administering treatments, monitoring patients, and supporting families. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with care standards and lead junior staff. Reporting to a Regional Nurse Manager, this role will assume responsibility for providing a first-class clinical service to patients receiving nursing and complex services within a Pharmaxo Healthcare clinic location, specifically oncology/haematology, in line with the Company Mission.
All patients, whether suffering from acute or chronic disease, should have equitable and timely access to complex injectable medicines in a setting of their choice.
Working closely with the other members of the multi-disciplinary team the job holder will ensure that the services provided by them comply with the requirements of the Care Quality Commission Inspectorate, The Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority, Care Inspectorate, best clinical practice and the legal and ethical requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Council and ensuring compliance with the companys policies and procedures.
The post holder is expected to carry out all relevant forms of care and procedures, including the administration of systemic anti-cancer treatments, for which they are competent to practice, without direct supervision and, where applicable provide leadership to junior staff.
The post holder will be required to take charge of the clinic as necessary.
