Job Description:
Reporting to the Head of Clinical Operations, you'll be an integral part of the Clinical Management Team at Bodyset. You'll act as an ambassador for the company, overseeing daily operations and service delivery at the clinic, ensuring quality outcomes and financial performance.
As a Senior Physiotherapist, you are expected to provide the highest standard of care to self-pay and private medical insured patients, following established clinical pathways from initial triage to discharge.
You will drive team performance through direct line management of practitioners and support staff, maintaining standards aligned with company objectives.
Clinical Management:
- Maintain a clinical caseload of approximately 85-90%
- Responsible for clinic performance and optimization
- Increase revenue through service channels, partnerships, and networking
- Ensure team compliance with all policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations, preparing the clinic for audits year-round
- Strive to continually improve clinic standards
- Handle clinical complaints or issues as the first point of contact
- Ensure consistent product delivery and customer experience
- Adhere to local health and safety regulations
- Maintain technical equipment
- Monitor stock levels and supplies
- Provide supervision and guidance to staff, monitoring performance
- Manage budgets effectively
Commercial & Team Management:
- Oversee daily team operations
- Manage team performance in line with KPIs, including regular reviews
- Report performance trends to management
- Evaluate and improve operational and financial performance
- Oversee inductions and training of new staff
- Identify marketing and partnership opportunities to attract new clients and referrals
Essential Skills:
- BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree (minimum)
- Full registration with the Health and Care Professions Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
- Ability to work autonomously following clinical pathways
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
- Previous managerial or similar experience
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Desirable Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience in generating new business and managing a client caseload
- Experience in the private healthcare sector
- Over 3 years of relevant postgraduate clinical experience
