Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Medical Division as a clinic coordinator. This role supports the Neurology/Neurophysiology/Dermatology teams and other teams as required. The position is fixed term until 31st March 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a clinical and clerical team to support clinicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide efficient general administrative day-to-day support to the department and patients.
  • Book outpatient appointments, manage Clinician availability, and ensure outpatient clinic availability is booked appropriately and fully utilised.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls, post, filing, faxing and other general administrative duties.
  • Provide effective input into the work of the Trust to support the achievement of its vision and values.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure both individually and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of NHS computer systems is advantageous; training will be provided to suitable candidates.
  • Ability to communicate well with all levels of staff and members of the public.
