Job summary

The Climbing Hangar Plymouth is looking for a fun, friendly Kitchen Crew Member to join our team. You’ll work part-time across a flexible timetable, including evenings and weekends, in a welcoming cafe environment at Burrington Way, Plymouth.

You’ll prepare menu items, manage allergens, and help keep the kitchen, cafe and site clean and safe while learning coffee basics. Apply by 7 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items following recipes and standards.
• Know the menu inside out, including allergens, to answer customer questions confidently.
• Greet customers and create a welcoming environment.
• Keep café, kitchen and site clean, tidy and safe.
• Develop barista skills and learn coffee basics.
• Collaborate with teammates to keep kitchen running smoothly during busy periods.
• Assist with stock checks to ensure supplies are available.
