The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) invites applications for a Research Assistant in the Global Climate Transition Centre. The role focuses on high-quality analysis of emissions targets, climate policies and finance within the ASCOR framework.

You will help maintain datasets using Excel and Airtable and contribute to report drafting. Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills, plus familiarity with R or Python, are essential as is an undergraduate degree in

Formación

• Undergraduate degree in environmental economics, environmental policy or a related field.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills with ability to produce systematic research.
• Excellent IT skills including advanced MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience in, or a desire to develop programming skills (R or Python).
• Familiarity with climate change, climate policy and sustainable finance.

Responsabilidades

• Collecting data from government documents and assessing emissions targets.
• Contributing to improvements to the ASCOR methodology.
• Maintaining an internal assessment database using Excel and Airtable alongside R or Python.
• Contributing to report drafting.
