Qualifikationen

• PhD or near-completion in physical or mathematical sciences
• Experience analysing climate model outputs
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistics
• Programming and communication skills

Aufgaben

• Identify weather conditions leading to high-impact extremes and how they change with warming
• Assess atmospheric drivers of precipitation and air quality extremes in project simulations
• Evaluate how model resolution affects conclusions about extreme events
• Develop physical climate storylines with project partners for communication
• Use storylines to identify potential high-impact events in simulations for large ensembles
