A leading environmental consultancy in the UK seeks a Senior Consultant to support climate change assessments in development projects. You will guide teams, conduct greenhouse gas assessments, and contribute to carbon management plans. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of planning regulations and a relevant degree. This role offers opportunities for professional growth and development within an inclusive culture.
Due to the continued importance of climate change as a key issue for built development and major infrastructure, we are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our team. Working across the Town & Country Planning and Development Consent Order regimes, we have a strong pipeline of major applications for development across industry sectors including renewable energy, transport, urban regeneration and new communities. These projects require climate change impact assessment as part of Environmental Impact Assessment. The role will focus heavily on climate change assessment to support the UK consenting regimes but there may be opportunities to provide more strategic advice to clients on climate change mitigation and adaptation.
