Job summary

Forestry and Land Scotland is seeking an experienced Climate Change Programme Analyst on a fixed-term contract in Edinburgh. You will support the climate change strategy across forestry, land management, buildings and contracts, reporting to the Climate Change Manager and collaborating with colleagues nationwide.

We require deep knowledge of climate mitigation and adaptation, strong data handling skills and excellent stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of climate mitigation and adaptation risks facing Scotland.
• Experience processing complex data and information.
• Strong interpersonal, influencing and stakeholder management skills with experience of building and maintaining relationships, and influencing, at all levels

Responsibilities

• Lead and support initiatives, processes and projects to help FLS achieve its emission reduction, adaptation and carbon capture targets.
• Engage with cross-functional groups and regional teams to embed climate action across the organisation
