Job summary

WinACC is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to strengthen financial sustainability, operations, and scale climate action across the region. The role manages finance, HR, IT, and governance, with a focus on fundraising and strategic delivery alongside the Executive Director.

Qualifications

• Essential: COO or similar leadership role.
• Experience in financial management, budgeting and forecasting.
• Knowledge of UK charity law, regulations, and governance.
• Proven fundraising experience.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead strategic planning and digital strategy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the charity's financial management and reporting.
• Prepare budgets with the Executive Director and Treasurer.
• Lead fundraising and manage grants administration and pipeline.
• Develop and implement digital strategy and data governance.
• Manage Office Manager and IT/digital systems; ensure compliance.
• Support Executive Director on strategy and performance reporting.
