Job summary

The Delegated Authority Client Technical Manager at Aventum Group in London coordinates the technical aspects of delegated authority agreements with insurers, brokers and partners. You will manage implementation, governance and performance of DUAs while ensuring regulatory compliance and internal standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive working knowledge of delegated authority insurance and reinsurance agreements.
• Understanding of underwriting, claims processes and risk management.
• Experience in London Market Binding Authority and Coverholder application processes.

Responsibilities

• Produce Binding Authority contracts, Reinsurance contracts, endorsements and any other documentation required within the DUA lifecycle.
• Provide technical support and advice to internal teams on delegated authority matters such as underwriting, compliance and claims.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including underwriters, brokers and insurers, to ensure alignment on delegated authority arrangements.
• Act as the key point of contact for issues related to delegated authority, providing guidance and resolution when required.
• Ensure that the Placement and Delegated Authority frameworks are adhered to and updated as necessary.
• Use internal and external tools to ensure documentation contains the correct clauses, conditions, taxes and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
• Assist Client Services Executives and IBA with resolving any issues relating to payments to the markets or from clients.
• Provide ad hoc support to the Team Lead and other team members as needed.
• Undertake any additional duties as assigned.
