Position: Client Strategy Manager

This individual is responsible for leveraging their digital knowledge of platforms and strategies to enhance customer relations and generate new partnerships.

The successful candidate will work locally at our Surrey Corporate Office but must be willing to travel throughout Western Canada to meet clients and sales staff in local Black Press Media markets.
Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing new client opportunities, assisting with internal product education, and conducting planned dual calls to ensure success.
- Identifying, developing, and implementing client acquisition strategies for multimedia campaigns to support business goals, and monitoring effectiveness throughout the sales process.
- Managing and developing an account list for regional, provincial, and national digital advertisers and agencies.
- Collaborating with the Director of Client Strategy and VP Digital Operations to develop revenue streams.
- Assessing client needs and developing advertising proposals based on solutions.
- Working with management and client strategy reps to increase revenue across divisions.
- Participating in sales training initiatives for staff across Canadian operations.
- Establishing stronger client connections, increasing sales productivity, and validating market readiness in collaboration with leadership.
- Leading customer acquisition efforts to surpass industry standards in digital advertising through ongoing education and self-development.
- Staying updated on new products and industry trends in digital marketing.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to measure, analyze, and improve revenue and audience development activities.
- Utilizing market and competitor knowledge to develop unique selling propositions.
- Travel throughout the Canadian division to achieve revenue objectives.
