This role is based in 240 Blackfriars, London Office

You will support the winning and delivery of bespoke marketing services to clients in your respective pillar, helping achieve the consulting revenue target. You'll work on some of the most exciting projects in the market through our blue-chip client list, where you'll play a key role in strengthening existing customer relationships as well as developing new ones.

Areas of Responsibility & Accountability

Event Planning & Execution:

  • Develop, plan, and execute a diverse range of events including corporate meetings, conferences, and social gatherings.
  • Work with project sponsors, internal teams and external vendors to manage all event logistics, including site selection, contract negotiations, transportation, catering, audiovisual needs, and accommodations.
  • Work with internal analysts on event content proposition development, including theme setting and agenda design.
  • Act as one point of contract for both event speakers and audience.
  • Oversee all event activities on the day of the event, ensuring smooth operations and a high-quality attendee experience.

Budget Management:

  • Develop event budgets, track expenses, and ensure all events are delivered within budget.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to achieve the best possible rates without compromising quality.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

  • Liaise with vendors, sponsors, partners, and stakeholders to ensure all aspects of event planning are handled efficiently and meet organizational goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and industry partners.

Marketing & Promotion:

  • Collaborate with the internal and sponsor’s marketing team to develop promotional materials, invitations, and advertising campaigns to maximize event attendance.
  • Use social media and other digital platforms to create buzz and generate interest for upcoming events.

Post-Event Evaluation:

  • Collect feedback from attendees, vendors, and stakeholders to evaluate event success and gather insights for future improvements.
  • Produce detailed post-event reports, including financial summaries, attendee feedback, and recommendations for future events.

Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in event planning and management in B2B events.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing median-scale events (100 – 300 persons) from conception to completion.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent).
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to travel as required.
  • Experience with virtual or hybrid event platforms.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Smartsheet or Trello.
