As an experienced SQL Engineer with strong SQL Server experience, you will be the face of this as our first line support! You'll support clients with queries and implement solutions to ensure our platforms run smoothly.

Through trust and knowledge, Interactive Medica (part of Wilmington's I&D division) provides web-based software applications that enable Life Sciences companies to manage sales, marketing, and medical resources effectively and collaborate with healthcare providers for better outcomes.

Job purpose, tasks, and responsibilities

As our Client Solutions Senior Engineer, your focus will be supporting our clients with our SQL-based platform. You will collaborate with colleagues to deliver optimal solutions promptly.

Travel may be required depending on client needs, within the UK or elsewhere in Europe.

Other responsibilities include:

1. Supervise daily routines & processes for client tools, acting on implementations needed.
2. Identify and implement quality improvements.
3. Respond to support queries within SLA.
4. Advise on and recommend client solutions & alternatives.
5. Build positive client relationships and report on operational & technical aspects.
6. Explore and contribute to new ways of implementing IM technology.
7. Manage client accounts ensuring solutions are effective.

Essential and desirable capabilities

We support colleagues' skill development, but success requires:

1. Experience in a similar role.
2. Degree in a relevant field.
3. Good problem-solving skills.
4. Passion for client satisfaction.
5. Strong SQL Server and Transact SQL knowledge.
6. Knowledge of web tech like Snowflake, Tableau, HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
7. Ability to meet deadlines and inform clients of delays.
8. Excellent interpersonal skills for customer-facing roles.
9. Experience with global clients is a plus.
