Overview

This role involves managing client relationships, liaising with internal stakeholders, leveraging technical knowledge, and supporting treaty negotiations within the insurance and reinsurance markets.

Key responsibilities:

• Client management – Support the management of existing client relationships through meetings, presentations, and identifying new opportunities.
• Business management & implementation – Maintain relationships with internal teams such as Protection Pricing, Underwriting, Claims, and Marketing.
• Innovation and technical perception – Collaborate to utilize existing technical work for effective client communication.
• Treaty & Contract work – Assist in treaty negotiations and implementation with clients.

Qualifications required:

• Mathematics, Economics, or Science-based degree.
• Newly Qualified Actuary preferred.

Experience required:

• Experience in pricing and/or product development within insurance, reinsurance, or consultancy, with a sales-oriented mindset.
• Deep understanding of protection reinsurance and/or insurance markets in the UK or Ireland.
• Strong verbal reasoning skills for credible communication on unfamiliar topics.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage diverse workloads and meet challenging deadlines while influencing others.
