Position Overview

The Client Site Services Engineer will provide technical hardware, software, and connectivity problem resolution to all client computers and users. This includes diagnosing issues, guiding users through solutions, providing end-user training, assisting engineers, troubleshooting printer problems, and performing maintenance and reporting. All work is performed at the client’s site.

Responsibilities include serving as deskside support, responding to service tickets, resolving first-level problems, escalating complex issues, and coordinating with third-party vendors for repairs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve first-level problems for end-users regarding workstations, laptops, network, and software issues.
  • Communicate solutions effectively to end-users.
  • Document all client issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Configure end-user hardware and software, both onsite and remotely.
  • Diagnose and resolve network, printer, and hardware problems.
  • Coordinate repairs and perform minor hardware repairs as needed.
  • Assist engineering staff and create knowledgebase materials.
  • Support and train end-users on various software applications.
  • Maintain professional communication and support company standards.

Knowledge and Skills

Knowledge of desktop operating systems, software applications, hardware, network principles, internet technologies, and safety procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following or have equivalent experience:

  • 3+ years supporting PC desktops and applications in a corporate environment.
  • Experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing computers.
  • Support for Microsoft applications and management software.
  • Support for enterprise-level userbases, preferably in legal or financial services.
  • CompTIA A+ and Net+ certifications or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods, perform physical activities, and lift up to 45 lbs.
  • Excellent communication skills.
