Your new company
We're pleased to be partnered with an industry-leading, not-for-profit central purchasing body working in the public sector. They create frameworks and dynamic purchasing models for use by their customers & specifically designed to support housing providers - and cover consultancy, refurbishment, compliance, zero carbon, facilities and new build projects.

Your new role
Delivering cost analysis, market intelligence and technical support to internal teams and external customers:

  1. Conduct industry cost research to develop market intelligence reports for members.
  2. Produce quarterly, professionally presented and insightful market intelligence reports for members.
  3. Conduct specific industry cost analysis for the technical team to deliver benchmarking reports to clients.
  4. Delivering a range of technical services to support a large and diverse group of customers through engagement and market intelligence.
  5. Providing expert and professional advice, guidance, challenge and support on specifications, cost models, contracts and leaseholder consultation processes.

What you'll need to succeed
* Quantity Surveying experience of at least 3 years
* Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail, able to compile, interpret and present data in the preparation of reports.
* Experience of a variety of construction projects, preferably in the housing sector.
* Full UK driving licence.

Desirable
* A RICS accredited degree
* Knowledge of asset management projects
* Understanding of the housing sector, its purpose, and the role of procurement in supporting this
* Knowledge of procurement tendering portals (Intend, Proactis etc.)
* Experience in material procurement and cost estimation for a range of works in the housing sector.
