Job description

About the Role: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially minded Building Surveyor to join the in-house property team of a major UK PLC, based in Warwickshire. This client-side role offers the chance to be directly involved in the strategic care, improvement, and compliance of a diverse and high-value UK-wide property portfolio.

You’ll support planned and reactive works across a range of operational and corporate sites, contributing to lifecycle planning, project delivery, and the ongoing evolution of property standards across the estate.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver building surveys, condition assessments, and feasibility reports Scope, manage and oversee refurbishment, maintenance, and minor works projects Advise on compliance matters including statutory inspections, H&S, and building regulations Support capital planning and asset lifecycle analysis Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders across the business Ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery, from specification through to completion Maintain accurate records and assist in budgeting and programme management

What We’re Looking For:

A qualified Building Surveyor with strong technical and practical knowledge MRICS or working toward chartership preferred Experience managing projects and surveying services in a commercial or industrial setting Comfortable working across multiple sites and juggling a range of priorities Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, with a solution-focused mindset Previous client-side or consultancy experience delivering for corporate clients is advantageous
