Job description

This is a rare opportunity to inherit a loyal portfolio of commercial insurance clients due to a retirement. This is a medium sized client book, worth circa £200k income and made up of a wide range of mid-market commercial clients, mainly located in the Yorkshire and Lancashire area, with the odd one a little further afield.

Our client is a fiercely independent and chartered insurance brokerage, long established, well regarded and continuing to achieve excellent growth, mainly organic and via a few strategic acquisitions. They can offer a flexible working environment, hybrid working, and currently 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, although as a client facing AE, you will be out and about more often than not, meeting with clients.

Ideal applicants will have previous Account Executive experience, a track record in managing existing clients and with a good all round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance. You will receive full administrative support from head office, freeing up your time to focus on client relationships.

Our client would also be happy to receive applications from experienced commercial brokers, account handlers or junior account executives, who feel ready to step up into a full client facing Account Executive position.

Progress towards CII qualifications would be beneficial and will be fully supported; previous use of Acturis system would also be useful, although not essential as full system training can be provided.

This role comes with a salary from £40k to £60k with a full benefits package provided. The business continues to grow, meaning there is plenty of room to develop your career.
