About us:
We are a friendly team who enjoy a close relationship with our clients. We really focus on great customer care which helps us with our aim of keeping pets living as long, happy, and healthy lives as possible. Your focus will be to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets - providing a link between clients and the clinical team. Your ability to build strong relationships with our clients, their pets and the practice team will be key to your success. Your role will play a key part in identifying new ways of working and supporting the practice and the team to overcome any day-to-day challenges.

You will greet each client and offer support, guidance and expertise, managing payments and future bookings confidently. The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day organisation and management of our reception team, ensuring a high level of customer service is delivered at all times and most importantly, help to devise new and innovative ways to drive the practice forward.

This position is full time although there is some flexibility around this. The role would include some evening and weekend working on a rota basis. The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience in leading a team and managing a fast paced work environment.

Previous veterinary experience would be ideal but not essential.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Developing and leading the non-clinical team to ensure our clients have excellent customer service, all tasks are completed in a timely manner, promoting wellbeing and being a general support to colleagues.
  • Greeting our clients, making them feel at home and comfortable, and promoting the services we offer
  • Keeping all documents filed correctly
  • Following appointment booking protocols to keep things running smoothly
  • Liaising with colleagues at our support office by email and telephone
  • Ensuring the reception area is kept organised and clean
  • Managing insurance claims
  • Ensure all data is up to date and correct by the end of each day
