Chadwell Animal Hospital located at 3004 Emmorton Rd in Abingdon, MD is looking for a full-time Client Service Representative to join our team! What You’ll Be Doing

As our Client Service Representative, you’ll be the heart of our hospital, creating a warm and welcoming environment for both our clients and patients. Your role will be key in ensuring smooth operations and delivering outstanding customer service. You'll handle a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Answering phones in a call room assisting clients with inquiries.
  • Scheduling appointments and managing client appointments efficiently.
  • Educating clients about our services and treatments, ensuring they have all the information they need to make informed decisions.
  • Managing client communication via email and other communication platforms by ensuring follow-ups and updates are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Checking clients in and out for their appointments, which includes handling financial transactions and accurately processing payments.
  • Light nightly cleaning

Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Veterinary hospital experience is preferred (2 years).
  • Customer service experience (2 years preferred).
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Communicate and cooperate within a team setting.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and bend frequently.

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, with both day and evening hours.
  • Every other Saturday.

Compensation

  • Pay Range : based on experience stating at $16 per hour
  • Possibility of overtime paid at time and a half

  • Supplemental Insurance:(e.g. life insurance, critical illness, etc.) 1st of the month after 60 days of employment
  • 401k: 1st of the month following hire date (21 or older), match after 1 year if minimum hours worked are met/maintained
  • Other Benefits: Continuing Education, Training Opportunities, RVT/LVT Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Referral Bonus Program, Wellness Resources, Employee Pet Discount

Part-Time Benefits Package

  • Scrub Allowance: Eligible on 1st day
  • Maryland Safe/Sick Leave: 1 hour for every 30 hours that an employee works up to a maximum of 40 hours
  • 401k: 1st of the month following hire date (21 or older), match after 1 year if minimum hours worked are met/maintained
  • Health Insurance: (medical, dental, vision): Single and Family, will be notified of eligibility once and if the employee meets ACA guidelines based on hours worked
  • Other Benefits: Continuing Education, Training Opportunities, Employee Referral Bonus Program, Wellness Resources, Employee Pet Discount
