Who we're looking for

We're looking for a Client Risk Analyst to join our Wealth Management division known as Cazenove Capital, which is part of the Schroders group. As a Client Risk Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Wealth Management Client Risk team in managing and monitoring first line operational risks and controls associated with client activities. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in financial services and gain hands-on experience in risk management and compliance.

What you'll do

  1. Meeting Preparation & Facilitation:
    • Assist in the preparation of agendas and materials for Schroder& Co/Schroder Wealth Management (US) Limited constraints meetings.
    • Facilitate monthly S&Co/SWUSL constraint meetings and accurately document meeting minutes.
  2. Operational Risk Procedures:
    • Develop, document, and maintain first line operational risk procedures.
    • Attend forums for procedure revision discussions and contribute to ongoing improvements.
    • Maintain and update operational procedures on SharePoint.
  3. Internal Audit and Compliance:
    • Track procedure changes and ensure compliance with internal audit requirements.
    • Respond to business queries related to operational risks and procedures.
  4. Training & Development:
    • Assist in delivering the new joiner training program, providing support and resources as needed.
    • Issue monthly Skillcast assessments and track progress, ensuring all team members complete required training.
  5. Account Management:
    • Collaborate on the 'Gone Away/Dormant' account framework, ensuring proper identification and management.
  6. Oversight & Alerts Management:
    • Oversee and manage the team SharePoint page, ensuring all information is current and accessible.
    • Monitor and manage Data Leakage Prevention alerts to maintain data integrity and security.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

  • Excellent IT skills, especially with the Microsoft Office suite
