Kennedys is looking for a Client Reporting Manager, to join its Business Intelligence team, located in Chelmsford. The Client Reporting Manager would assume line management responsibility for the client reporting team who reside within the wider Business Intelligence function.

The team is responsible for ensuring Kennedy's client reporting and data outputs are consistently delivered to a high standard, on time and match the client's requirement.

Team

Kennedys Business Intelligence team is responsible for delivering valued business intelligence to key clients and a senior internal audience.

The team is comprised of Reporting Analysts and Specialists, Business Analysts and Insight & Technical Analysts who monitor and report key metrics to demonstrate insights to the business.

Our Business Intelligence team forms part of our wider Finance team and is based in London and Chelmsford.

The Business Intelligence team consists of the three pillars: Client Reporting, Data Insights and Business Intelligence. To which the successful candidate would be responsible of the management, product delivery, growth and success of the latter two pillars.

Key responsibilities

  • Overseeing the entire process of creating, delivering, and maintaining client reports, ensuring they are accurate, timely, and meet deadlines
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with partners, internal teams and external clients
  • Leading and mentoring a team of analysts, delegating tasks, providing feedback, and ensuring team members are developing their skills to support the Kennedys of today and the future
  • Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes, streamline workflows, and enhance the efficiency of report delivery
  • Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with data governance standards.

Required experience

  • Analytical skills, with and an aptitude for developing solutions to complex problems
  • Technically efficient within Excel
  • Good eye for detail, able to see patterns and trends in data sets
  • Inquisitive, enjoy working with large volumes of data and fascinated by solving complex problems and identifying interesting trends and behaviours
  • Excellent communication skills and able to speak and write confidently and explain complex issues clearly and simply
  • Excellent attention to detail, able to multi-task whilst still delivering quality output
  • Provides guidance, training and problem solving assistance to the team
  • Self-motivated and can work proactively independently or as part of a team
  • Demonstrates creative and critical thinking skills with an appetite to drive innovation.
