Our ideal candidate will be a strategic, execution-oriented Client Relationship Manager with experience in a Technical Account Managerial role focused on Information Technology. They will stay abreast of industry trends, competitors, and best practices, helping to build and manage existing accounts by understanding clients' overall business requirements and technology needs.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and engage current and potential clients using various sales methods including email, trade shows, and social media.
- Understand clients' business and IT strategies; communicate effectively with RFA's design team to develop solution-based roadmaps addressing client needs.
- Develop client-specific strategies to identify and meet client needs, aligning future requirements with RFA's product offerings.
- Coordinate with relevant business units to secure necessary resources, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget; contribute to marketing initiatives by providing client feedback.
- Lead presentations to demonstrate RFA's value-added solutions; articulate how RFA can resolve client issues and demonstrate ROI when needed.
- Collaborate across departments to deliver excellent client service.
- Negotiate contractual terms including pricing, payment terms, and deliverables.
- Maintain and update the client database daily, including new opportunities and competitor profiles.
- Work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines, including working extra hours when necessary.
- Serve as the primary contact for escalation requests.
- Attend networking and client events during and after business hours.
Qualifications
- Experience in account management or client development within a solution-based, consultative environment.
- Project management experience, including cost control and basic accounting skills.
- Ability to identify and track new opportunities.
- Solid understanding of technology such as cloud computing, storage, infrastructure, and desktops.
- Excellent listening skills; able to ask relevant questions and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational, business, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior executives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
