Location: Leicester, LE19 1SU - Hybrid working available

Salary: £25,500 per annum

Contract: 12 month fixed term

Job Purpose, Tasks And Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Working with our Key Account Managers on some of the top spend accounts in the business.
  • Managing diaries for Mercia's consulting and lecturing staff.
  • Forging and maintaining professional and helpful relationships with our external clients and helping them make the most of Mercia's services.
  • Setting up and managing consultancy visits and lecturing appointments for Mercia's staff and subcontractors.
  • Telephoning, emailing, and using our secure portal to send confirmations and engagement terms to clients.

What's The Best Thing About This Role

No two days are the same and you will have a varied workload. You will be working closely with our key account clients to build relationships and rapport, working in a team who are passionate about client care and delivering excellent customer service.

What's The Most Challenging Thing About This Role

This is a busy and fast paced role, and you will need strong communication skills, be highly organised and able to multitask. You will need to be able to re prioritise your work though out the day to meet clients' needs and deadlines.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Must Have

  • Strong English skills, backed by the relevant qualification(s): GCSE, Key Skills or Functional Skills Strong ICT skills and exposure to different system
  • Ability to negotiate with others and seek resolutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Extensive experience in diary scheduling and diary management
  • A good understanding of the accountancy industry and key compliance requirements for firms (desirable, not essential)
  • Experience in the same or similar role

To be successful in this role, it would be great if you have:

  • Experience in using CRMs
