Are you looking for a new role where you can really take the lead in making a difference to our client’s service?

We have an exciting opportunity to join NHS Shard Business Services (SBS) as a Client Liaison Lead. Working in partnership with our Payroll teams and responding positively to feedback by proactively reviewing processes, procedures and make sure the needs and expectations of our clients are met

Essentially, you will bring expert knowledge in process awareness and understanding to Clients, to continue promoting standard process! Dealing with highly sensitive and confidential personal information. Making sure compliance to external and internal audit requirements.

We would consider applications from Southampton and Sheffield applicants, and we operate a hybrid working model, where you will work from our office 1 day per week and 4 days working from home. There may also be the occasional and client sites meetings.

What you'll be doing:

  • Work co-operatively and maintain effective relationships with others, internally and externally
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach to change which will support the P2P team in meeting existing and future needs
  • Customer focused, seeking and suggesting and actively participating in customer service improvement, identified through daily processing, analysis and feedback
  • Hold Monthly Client Calls and prepare Client packs and trend graphs
  • Responsible for dealing effectively with queries from both internal and external customers, mainly over email, but also over teams meetings and phone.
  • To constantly analyse and evaluate feedback to make sure ‘best service delivery’ is achieved and consistent improvement is achieved

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience of working within all Payroll Hubs
  • A minimum of one years’ experience within a payroll team
  • Experience in dealing with customer/client service facing environment, with strong interpersonal skills at all levels
  • Passionate about service perfection
  • Ability to plan and prioritise own workload and the workloads of others
  • Analytical thinking to understand and use financial and performance data.
  • Able to investigate and resolve issues thoroughly, providing root cause analysis

  • Previous NHS experience
