Job summary

bk plus is seeking a Client Manager in Chorley to manage a varied portfolio of clients, from sole traders to partnerships and limited companies, delivering a full range of accounting and advisory services.

You will build strong client relationships, plan monthly jobs around year ends, and supervise team members to ensure timely completion of work, including Personal Tax Returns and accounts presentations, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an accountancy practice.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with CCH software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand the nature of clients’ businesses and how they operate.
• Keep client promises and respond to client queries promptly.
• Plan monthly jobs aligned with year ends.
• Complete Personal Tax Returns for portfolio clients alongside accounts work.
• Review, complete and present accounts to clients.
• Supervise team members to ensure timely completion of planned work.
