Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a dynamic Client Manager to join a collaborative team of 14 in their Stratford-upon-Avon office. This role is ideal for someone moving up from a Semi-Senior, with solid experience advising owner‑managed businesses on accounts and tax.

Working alongside Senior Managers and Partners, you will manage client relationships, perform and review technical work, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute to strategic business advice including CGT and basic

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a UK accountancy practice as Semi-Senior or Senior.
• Strong grounding in accounts preparation and basic personal tax.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Able to mentor junior staff.
• Office-based with hybrid working.

Responsibilities

• Client management with face-to-face meetings and handling routine queries about accounts, tax, and profit extraction.
• Hands-on preparation and review of accounts (including FRS 102 1a) and tax work by junior staff before submission to Senior Managers and Partners.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to junior accounts and tax staff in the office.
• Collaborate with colleagues across bookkeeping, VAT, management accounts, personal/business tax, company secretarial, and payroll functions.
• Advise owner-managed businesses on basic personal tax affairs, CGT and day-to-day accounting matters.
