Job summary

Trial Balance is seeking an experienced Client Manager in Plymouth to manage a varied client portfolio and provide practical accounting and taxation guidance. You will act as the primary client contact, reviewing statutory accounts, corporation tax, personal tax and VAT work, while building long-term relationships and adding value.

You will support and mentor junior colleagues and work closely with Partners to maintain an exceptional level of client service.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy practice with client relationships.
• Ability to review accounts and tax work with accuracy.
• Strong communication and proactive, collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of clients (limited companies, sole traders, partnerships).
• Act as the primary contact for clients, providing practical accounting and taxation advice.
• Review statutory accounts, corporation tax, personal tax and VAT work.
• Build strong relationships with clients and identify opportunities to add value.
• Support, mentor and develop junior team members.
• Collaborate with Partners to ensure exceptional client service.
