Client Manager – Strategic Finance Team (Hybrid | London-Based)
Location: London (Hybrid – mix of office and remote work)

Qualification: ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CFA (or equivalent)
Experience: Ideally 2–5 years PQE

An exciting opportunity has opened up with a forward-thinking, advisory-led accountancy firm for a Client Manager to join their dynamic Finance Function team. This role combines the best of finance leadership, commercial advisory, and team collaboration—perfect for someone who thrives on variety and wants to play a more strategic role in client businesses.
Act as a fractional Finance Director across a portfolio of clients, delivering strategic insight and leading day-to-day finance operations
Build strong relationships with founders, CEOs, and boards—becoming their go-to finance partner
Deliver high-quality management accounts, forecasts, dashboards, and board packs
Lead process improvement initiatives, drive automation, and champion best practices
Collaborate with tax and corporate finance teams on funding rounds, M&A activity, and succession planning
Support junior team development and contribute to wider practice growth
A professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent)
2–5 years’ post-qualified experience (more or less considered)
A strong grounding in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operations
Commercial awareness and a client-focused mindset
Excellent communication skills, especially when engaging with senior stakeholders
Confidence using cloud accounting tools (e.g. Xero) and Microsoft Excel
A genuine interest in business and a desire to shape how finance adds value
