Job summary

Prince Personnel Limited in Telford is recruiting a Client Manager on a permanent basis to support the Director by delivering high-quality accounting and tax services to clients. You will be the main client contact, manage a portfolio, prepare accounts, VAT returns, year-ends, remuneration planning, and supervise two staff while advising on tax matters.

Hours Mon–Fri 9am–5pm with 1h lunch; salary £45,000–£50,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in practice and team management are essential.
• Ideally ACA/ACCA, although finalist or QBE accountant would be considered.
• Strong IT skills with accounting software and good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Ownership and management of a portfolio of clients.
• Client facing role - main point of contact for these clients.
• Accounts for clients - planning, reviewing and finalisation.
• Advising and giving guidance on clients' accounts and related matters.
• Remuneration planning.
• Overview of VAT returns/management accounts/year end accounts and tax returns.
• Main contact for corporation and personal tax services and review of returns.
• Line management of 2 staff and supporting directors.
