Job summary

TC Group in Gateshead is seeking a Client Manager Accountant to manage a portfolio of clients and prepare year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, sole-traders, and LLPs. You will work closely with the accounts team and clients to obtain information and deliver high-quality financial statements.

Ideal candidates will have ACA/ACCA, at least five years in practice, solid Xero knowledge, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified or by experience.
• 5+ years' experience in an accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of Xero and cloud accounting.
• Great attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Pro-active and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• preparing year end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, sole-traders and LLPs
• supporting junior staff within the team
• working closely with clients, other members of the accounts team and other departments, including direct contact with the Partners, managers and clients in order to obtain the required information to prepare their accounts
• delivering excellent client service
• preparing management accounts
• involvement with workflow implementation and management
• assisting with driving technological solutions in accounting throughout the office
• VAT returns
• bookkeeping for clients
• assisting with ad-hoc client support
