Job summary

Clark Wood are working with a highly regarded independent firm of accountants in Hitchin who are looking to recruit an experienced Client Manager to join their growing team. You will manage a portfolio of clients, acting as a key point of contact and overseeing the delivery of accounts, tax and general accountancy services.

The successful candidate will ideally be ACA/ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience, with previous accountancy practice experience.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience in accountancy practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities.
• Oversee the delivery of accounts, tax and general accountancy services for a portfolio of clients.
• Provide day-to-day advice and support to clients on accounting matters.
• Review accounts and tax work to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support and develop junior team members within the practice.

Clark Wood are working with a highly regarded independent firm of accountants in Hitchin who are looking to recruit an experienced Client Manager to join their growing team.

The firm has a strong track record of organic growth and an excellent client base. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with clients and wants to take ownership of a portfolio.

You will manage a portfolio of clients, acting as a key point of contact and overseeing the delivery of accounts, tax and general accountancy services.

You’ll also be involved in:

• Developing strong relationships with existing clients and identifying new opportunities.
• Providing day‑to‑day advice and support to clients.
• Reviewing accounts and tax work.
• Supporting and developing junior team members.
• Helping to drive the continued growth of the practice.

The successful candidate will ideally be ACA/ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience, with previous accountancy practice experience.
