Having delivered fantastic growth over the last 12 months, Aon Advisory in Manchester is currently recruiting for an experienced Client Manager/Account Executive to join our team. This role is a hybrid position – split between our first-class facilities in Manchester and remote work. You will be part of a successful team with excellent career opportunities.

The Client Manager is the key contact with the client, responsible for coordinating and managing service delivery, leveraging designated service teams and specialists, and identifying growth opportunities.

The client manager will own and develop their own book of clients while seeking to expand it through new client acquisition.

What the day will look like

Our advisory team provides risk solutions to UK businesses across various sectors. Typically, clients are mid-market companies, where you will interact with owners, MDs, and FDs to offer tailored insurance and risk management services, including claims support and industry-specific advice.

Your responsibilities include understanding client needs, building relationships with decision-makers, identifying new business opportunities, cross-selling Aon’s products, managing your pipeline, and growing revenue and profitability.

You will work in accordance with Aon UK policies, participate in risk management, and complete mandatory training to mitigate business risks.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • ACII or equivalent qualification
  • Proven client relationship experience in the insurance industry, especially in core commercial risks
  • Experience with mid-market commercial and corporate risks is desirable

  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Client-focused, with a consultative approach and commitment to service excellence
