As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for effectively managing the Penrith office. You will manage and motivate the team, overseeing all work produced and undertaking line manager duties for the accounts staff based in the office.

Description
  1. Manage a portfolio of accounting clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, ensuring excellent customer service in all interactions.
  2. Ensure all client files are clear, organized, and comprehensive, including personal tax positions before fee earner meetings.
  3. Develop a deep understanding of each client to meet their expectations effectively.
  4. Directly manage client relationships, ensuring high-quality service.
  5. Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients to enhance reputation and maximize referrals.
  6. Conduct appraisals for team members and oversee staff inductions.
  7. Review and approve timesheets, glide time, and holidays to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
  8. Manage staff absence procedures, including return-to-work interviews.
  9. Ensure team members meet firm expectations, identifying and addressing development needs.
