A successful and highly reputable firm of chartered accountants based in Exmouth has a requirement for an experienced Client Manager to join their team as a key addition in a pivotal support role to the firm's partners. This role involves taking on full portfolio management responsibility and delivering a wide range of services, with clear opportunities for progression and development within the firm.

Client Details

Based in Exmouth, this chartered firm serves a diverse client base across various industries, including industry sector OMBs, SMEs, and corporate clients with turnovers ranging from several million up to £10-30 million for larger clients. You will work closely with one of the firm's partners, providing a spectrum of accounting, tax, and advisory/planning services to your clients and building long-term relationships. The firm is experiencing continued growth and has a strong reputation. It offers flexible working arrangements, including a mix of remote/home working and office involvement.

Description

As a Client Manager based in Exmouth, you will have the opportunity to progress within this successful firm, working closely with a partner. Your responsibilities will include leading and managing the delivery of accounts, tax, and wider services to clients across various industries. You will develop client relationships, review accounts, disclosures, and audit files (audit experience is not essential, as the client base can be focused on accounts and tax depending on your background). You will possess a broad skill set across accounts and tax and collaborate with partners on advisory and planning projects, including corporate finance and other initiatives. There is significant potential to develop and influence your role within the firm.

Profile

For this Client Manager role, you should be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent, with experience gained within an accountancy practice.
