Job summary

A leading company in the real estate sector is seeking a detail-oriented Client Management Accountant to join their finance team. This full-time role involves managing financial records, preparing VAT returns, and producing management accounts. Here at FI Real Estate Management, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Client Management Accountant to join our finance team in a full-time, permanent position. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records and producing insightful financial analysis for Profit and Loss accounts for tax and audit purposes.

This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in various accounting software. The role is office-based in Chorley, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  1. Bank Reconciliations
  • Review bank reconciliations produced by the Assistant Accountant
  • Produce bank reconciliations for PPMS funds and nominal balances
  • Review payment requests produced by purchase ledger
  • Review trade creditors
  • Review invoice requests produced by the Assistant Accountant
  • VAT Returns
    • Prepare quarterly VAT returns and perform nominal reconciliation
  • Management Accounts
    • Produce detailed analysis of all Profit and Loss accounts for tax and audit purposes
    • Produce monthly management accounts within deadlines, including full analysis and reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
    • Prepare comprehensive notes to support the monthly management accounts
    • Liaise with relevant managers to present accounts monthly
    • Prepare audit files and liaise with auditors for your allocated companies

    The above is not an exhaustive list of duties; you will be expected to perform various tasks as necessitated by your role within the organization.

    Skills
