What you'll do
Join the Client Funds & Reconciliations team, responsible for managing £350m of customer cash. Reporting to the Client Funds Manager, you'll lead finance transformation projects, including aligning Client Funds Balance Sheets into a unified model.
Develop understanding of key control processes, build relationships across departments like Group Financial Control, Treasury, Revenue, Product, and Data, and ensure stakeholder alignment. You'll also work on projects related to integrating new products, payment methods, and jurisdictions, and help align ways of working across Flutter.
- Lead Balance Sheet alignment project for Client Funds.
- Serve as the key contact for Client Funds process or settlement queries.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Implement new products and payment methods, including UAT.
- Coordinate with external payment processors and internal teams.
- Communicate effectively with the Finance Manager regarding financial exceptions and liabilities.
- Manage relationships across locations including Dublin, New York, Isle of Man, and Leeds.
- Monitor financial control frameworks and identify risks.
How you'll do it- Qualified accountant with post-qualified industry experience; degree preferred.
- Experience managing finance projects or transformation initiatives is advantageous.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, eager to learn, and career-driven.
- Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
- Skilled in analyzing large data sets and presenting insights clearly.
- Professional with good time management, organization, and multitasking skills.
- High attention to detail and trustworthiness due to sensitive data.
- Proactive, innovative, and able to suggest process improvements.
- Excellent communicator, concise and clear.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced, changing environment.
