The Client Financial Services Assistant provides clerical support, customer service, and administrative assistance within the team. Responsibilities include processing mail and emails, managing a busy phone line, and supporting the wider operations of Client Financial Services.
This team conducts financial assessments for adults receiving care services from Birmingham City Council. They monitor over 3000 accounts, administer the Direct Payment system, and oversee the Appointee and Court Deputy services. They also provide advice on financial aspects of the care process.
We seek individuals who can start immediately, with previous experience in finance or care being highly desirable. Recent clerical or customer service experience in an adult Social Care setting is particularly valued.
Flexibility is valued; staff may be asked to work across departments as needed, with training provided. Previous applicants need not reapply.
