Job summary

Colliers UK is seeking a client-facing Senior Cost Manager to own commercial delivery for a prestigious account in London. You will lead all cost management across workplace, fit-out and refurbishment projects, providing strategic advice and governance from inception to completion.

You will mentor junior staff, build client relationships, and drive value through effective cost planning, procurement and contract administration within a multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification is mandatory.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Experience in consultancy within real estate/construction/property sectors.
• Experience delivering corporate occupier, office, workplace, fit-out or refurbishment projects.
• Strong cost planning, procurement and contract administration knowledge.
• Experience in large-scale corporate real estate programmes.
• Knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management across a portfolio of workplace, fit-out, refurbishment and capital projects.
• Develop budgets, cost plans and financial forecasts.
• Provide strategic commercial advice to client teams and stakeholders.
• Manage tender processes, contractor evaluations and procurement strategies.
• Oversee contract administration under JCT/NEC forms.
• Review valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Deliver robust governance and timely financial reporting.
• Identify risks and opportunities with mitigation plans.
• Support business growth within the account and Occupier Services team.
