Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the United Kingdom is seeking a Project Manager to lead a diversified portfolio of buildings and places projects across sectors such as commercial real estate, education, public sector, heritage and mixed-use development.

You'll own projects from inception to completion, engage directly with clients, chair governance forums, manage risks and cost, and mentor junior team members within a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Experience managing built-environment projects from inception to delivery.
• Solid grasp of governance, risk and delivery frameworks.
• Proven client-facing skills and ability to foster long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects end-to-end from business case to handover.
• Act as primary client contact and build trusted relationships.
• Manage programme, cost, risk and change control processes.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams including consultants and contractors.
• Chair project meetings, risk workshops and governance forums.
• Oversee procurement strategies and contract administration (JCT/NEC).
• Monitor performance, identify risks/opportunities, drive solutions.
• Support account management, reporting, and pipeline development.
• Contribute to business development and client growth.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and junior staff.
