Job summary

Hedgehog Lab is seeking an Agentic Solutions Engineer to lead the earliest stage of client work and define how AI-driven solutions are built for real business problems.

You will own the architecture, drive proofs of concept, and work directly with client teams to translate goals into scalable technical plans. This is a front-line, forward-deployed role with significant client interaction and impact.

Qualifications

• Experience using AI agents to build production software.
• Ability to break down complex, poorly defined problems and ship working solutions.
• Strong TypeScript or Python, comfortable full stack with NestJS or FastAPI.
• Experience meeting and presenting to clients directly.
• Strong written communication for ADRs and docs.
• Experience in consulting, professional services or forward-deployed roles.
• Pragmatic architectural mindset, scalable to POC, pilot or production.

Responsibilities

• Turn customer goals into a solution architecture and technology choices.
• Build proofs of concept that validate design and hand off cleanly.
• Define the agentic engineering pipeline: tooling, workflows and guardrails for AI coding agents.
• Shape the quality strategy, including test approach and code review.
• Make other engineers more capable, pairing on real work and creating reusable patterns for client teams.
• Own the architectural decision records.
