R_300208 - Client Executive - Trade Credit - SME

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Trade Credit team at Marsh. This role is based out of our Birmingham office as part of the Corporate South team. This is a hybrid role that has a mixture of office based and home working.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Client Executive to lead our existing SME book of business. You will focus on managing and retaining a large portfolio of SME clients, while identifying opportunities to grow our SME offering, alongside our sales team and with support from both the Practice Leader and the Head of Sales.

Ultimately you will be responsible for spearheading Marsh’s SME offering, including product innovation as well as growth.

We will rely on you to:

  • Achieve high client retention rates for existing portfolio through a strong service proposition.
  • Take ownership for Marsh’s approach to SME business, identifying opportunities for process improvements and product innovation.
  • Manage strategic relationships with clients, insurers, and both internal and external networks.
  • Work closely with the sales team on new business cases and self-generate opportunities through expanded sales to the existing portfolio.
  • Prepare reports highlighting performance of the overall portfolio and future targets.
  • Work with the Practice Leader and the Head of Sales to design, and implement, future objectives and strategy.

What you need to have:

  • Strong trade credit insurance experience, with knowledge of a range of insurer policy wordings.
  • A focus on client service and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
