Senior Business Development Executive (Client Executive)

Northern Ireland

Fujitsu’s Northern Ireland business is focused on enabling the Northern Ireland Executive to deliver on their policy objectives and provide modern, efficient public services. Fujitsu has a long record of developing innovative solutions ranging from modern public facing services to major shared service initiatives.

We seek a Senior Executive who can engage with the Northern Ireland Government Departments to fully understand their objectives and develop ideas and propositions that leverage Fujitsu’s capabilities to help deliver on their expectations. This important role is accountable for growing existing business in strategic accounts and winning new business in competitive accounts.

This person will be part of a team that will develop and execute Fujitsu’s strategy for the future, working cohesively in a team with a Client Director, Delivery Executives, Digital Advisors and CTOs – supported by the wider Fujitsu organization, including Service lines. The successful candidate will identify and progress numerous competitive opportunities, proposing effective solutions and value for money for our customers. You will input to the NI Account Strategy and develop relationships with our key partners Oracle, AWS, Microsoft and local SMEs in the NI marketplace o support the Account strategy.

The Role Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the NI team, support the development of the NI Account Strategy, goals and financial objectives
  • Understand NI Government Departments’ business objectives and develop Fujitsu opinions on how to achieve their goals.
  • Ability to lead a complex sales opportunity and manage key internal stakeholders across a range of disciplines to develop a compelling customer proposition
  • Presenting and articulating propositions to senior stakeholders
  • Providing pro-active thought leadership to the Customer teams to guide ad shape their approach and outcomes
  • Work closely with the NI team to engage early in the customer’s procurement process and help formulate Fujitsu’s strategy; provide guidance and direction to bid teams in strategic opportunities
  • Develop relationships with Fujitsu key partners including Oracle, Microsoft, AWS, ServiceNow and SMEs in the NI market

Your transferable skills and experience:

  • You will have proven sales experience in identifying opportunities, developing solutions with account teams and CTOs and winning new business
  • Evidence of sales excellence – Account planning, opportunity development & management, customer and internal stakeholder management and forecasting
  • A strong communicator who can inspire, support, and positively influence teams and customers to achieve shared success
  • The ability to deeply understand the customer’s needs, empathize with their challenges, and co-create solutions that drive meaningful outcomes.
  • The ability to provide insights to influence and guide customer thinking, offering viable and appropriate solutions
  • An understanding of Enterprise Level Services
  • Experience of taking large complex deals through all stages of the sales cycle from business development through to negotiate and successful close, and experience of working within a structured bid management process
  • Teamwork, particularly within a matrix organization
  • Commercially astute with the ability to manage key business data / financial information for business forecasting and reporting
