Marsh

Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Education team at Marsh. This role will be home based, ideally with you being based in the Hampshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire regions of the South. There is also a requirement of attending our Haywards Heath office for meetings as required.

You will manage and grow a portfolio of clients and prospective clients from across the UK Education sector. You will identify and agree strategies for each client's risk management, risk financing, and insurance needs and objectives, as well as working with clients to maximise business opportunities and broaden the product offering.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing an allocated portfolio of clients across the Education sector
  • Identifying and agreeing strategies for each client's risk management, risk financing, and insurance needs and objectives
  • Working with clients to maximise business opportunities and broaden the product offering
  • Leading programme design activities through to sign-off
  • Producing budget proposals for clients and negotiating fees
  • Hosting client and insurer meetings with specialist brokers and client service teams
  • Delivering market-leading service and solutions for all clients
  • Prospecting and winning new clients

Requirements:

  • Proven commercial insurance experience, with previous client executive roles
  • Experience working with education-related clients is beneficial but not essential
  • Strong relationship building and management skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are advantageous

Preferred qualities:

  • Dynamic with previous client-facing experience
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work flexibly
  • Cert CII qualification, with progress towards ACII desirable
