Job description

Client Executive

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Education team at Marsh. This role will be based in our Haywards Heath office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

You will manage and grow a portfolio of clients and prospective clients from across the UK Education sector. You will identify and agree strategies for each clients' risk management, risk financing and insurance needs and objectives as well as working with clients to maximise the business opportunities and broaden the product offering.

We will count on you to:
  • Manage an allocated portfolio of clients across the Education sector
  • Identify and agree strategies for each clients' risk management, risk financing and insurance needs and objectives
  • Work with clients to maximise the business opportunities and broaden the product offering
  • Lead programme design activities through to sign off
  • Produce budget proposals for client and negotiate fees
  • Host client and Insurer meetings in conjunction with specialist broker and client service teams
  • Strive to deliver best practice, market-leading service and solutions for all clients
  • Prospect and win new clients


What you need to have:
  • Proven Insurance experience, preferably within Commercial lines, however, Personal lines experience will also be considered
  • Experience of working with Education related clients would be beneficial, but not essential
  • Strong relationship building and relationship management skills are essential
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills are essential
  • Analytical and problem solving skills will be beneficial
