Job description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Client Executive team at Marsh. This role will be based in Bristol. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Are you an experienced Client Executive with a Property-Casualty insurance background? Are you interested in building relationships with a broad spectrum of clients (including multinational) for a market-leading, global organisation that can provide long-term career progression? If so, we are currently looking to expand our corporate team and are very interested in speaking with top talent within the insurance industry.

We will count on you to:

  1. Manage a portfolio of predominantly large, complex and/or multinational clients
  2. Identify and agree on strategies for clients’ risk management, risk financing, and insurance needs and objectives
  3. Lead and approve insurance programme design activities
  4. Produce budget proposals and negotiate fees
  5. Host client and insurer meetings in conjunction with specialist broker and client service teams
  6. Strive to deliver best practice, market-leading service, and solutions for all clients

What you need to have:

  1. Property-Casualty (Combined) insurance experience
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Negotiating and influencing skills
  4. Analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. ACII part/fully qualified (or equivalent)

  1. Dynamic with previous client-facing experience
  2. The ability to remain calm under pressure and work flexibly when required

What qualifications are preferred but not required?

  • Cert CII qualified and working towards ACII is desirable

We support hybrid work, including remote work and the benefits of working in the office. All colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week for full team in-person meetings.
