Business Development Representative United Kingdom (Hybrid) Job Description

Telent is looking for a new addition to the Sales & Marketing team as part of the Network Services division. We are seeking a driven, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking Business Development Representative to join our team and help build and develop relationships within the Emergency Services, Public Sector, Government, Utilities, and Nuclear space. This role involves working through a Telent training plan and collaborating with the team at our Warwick and Camberley offices at least one day per week, alternating weekly.

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll play a multi-faceted role that is crucial to Telent’s go-to-market strategy. As you learn and grow in the role, we’ll help you develop a career path at Telent for years to come.

BDR - Responsibilities:

  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of Telent, our offerings, and the markets we operate in to educate prospects.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to support the sales pipeline and growth by researching target accounts and key stakeholders.
  • Create and coordinate campaigns for prospect accounts based on territory research.
  • Perform targeted outreach via phone, email, social media, and creative efforts to generate interest and sell services.
  • Follow up with warm inbound leads from marketing to convert them into meetings and opportunities.
  • Analyze and report on weekly activities and pipeline efforts.

BDR - Candidate Profile:

We seek resilient, driven, self-motivated candidates with relevant sales experience, particularly outbound sales, and the ability to generate new leads. Experience in other industries is welcomed. A university degree or equivalent and some office experience are preferred.
